Nest Academy, located near Wills Park in Alpharetta, is a K-8 learning pod designed to provide a personalized and holistic educational experience. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of learning through individualized learning plans, hands-on projects, and engaging activities that make education both fun and meaningful. With small class sizes and a focus on each child’s unique needs, we create a nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn at their own pace, and reach their full potential.

You can choose from a 2-,3- or 4-day option, whatever works best for your family. Our 2- and 3- day options can function as a homeschool hybrid with lesson plans and curriculum provided to support learning at home on off-days.

Prefer to have everything happen on campus? Our 4-day option offers a full, in-person experience - no homeschooling required.

Our Philosphy

Learning Beyond the Classroom

At Nest Academy Alpharetta, we believe every child is a unique learner with their own pace, passions, and path. Our goal is to guide students on an exciting and rewarding educational journey— one that helps them build confidence, curiosity, and a deep connection to the world around them.

We know that powerful learning doesn’t just happen inside four walls. That’s why we regularly venture out on field trips and local outings that enrich our project work and allow students to explore the community. Whether it’s a visit to a local museum or a nature walk to support a science topic, these experiences bring learning to life.

We also embrace outdoor learning every chance we get. From daily recess at nearby Wills Park to picnic lunches and shaded reading sessions under the trees, we make nature an extension of our classroom—rain or shine.

At Nest, family partnership is essential. We see parents as key collaborators in the learning process, encouraging their children’s interests, nurturing discovery, and helping bring deeper meaning to what they learn at school.

We’re also passionate about cultivating empathy and global citizenship. Through community service and charitable projects, students learn the value of giving back and staying connected to the world around them.

A Strong Start Every Morning: Core Skills Mastery

At Nest Academy Alpharetta, your child’s day begins with focus, structure, and encouragement. Every morning is dedicated to three Core Skills blocks, where students build a strong foundation in reading, writing, math, science and social studies, through personalized, goal-oriented instruction.

With small group support and individual attention, each child works at their own pace—gaining confidence, mastering essential skills, and developing a true sense of accomplishment. These sessions are thoughtfully designed to balance structure with encouragement, helping children thrive academically while enjoying the process of learning.

Our mornings are calm, productive, and purpose-driven—setting a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Afternoons: Projects with Purpose

Following a long and playful recess, students are ready to dive into afternoons filled with hands-on, meaningful learning. At Nest Academy Alpharetta, we believe that real-world experiences build deep understanding and lasting engagement. Afternoons are centered around project-based learning that brings subjects to life. Students explore entrepreneurship, foreign languages, art appreciation and multi-disciplinary projects that connect learning to the world around them.

This balanced approach—focused academics in the morning and experiential learning in the afternoon—helps children grow not just as students, but as curious, capable, and confident young people.
