1. What grades do you serve?
We currently serve students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in multi-age classrooms

2. What curriculum do you use?
We use a blend of core academic programs, both traditional and online as well as project-based units (entrepreneurship, history, art, and local field studies). We use personalized learning plans tailored to each child’s needs and pace.

3. Is Nest Academy accredited?
Nest Academy is a private learning pod, not a traditional accredited school. Families may register as homeschoolers in Georgia while receiving instruction and support from our teachers.

4. What makes Nest Academy different?
Small, nurturing environment, hands-on projects and field trips. The emphasis is on creativity, independence, and critical thinking, Flexible pacing that supports both advanced learners and those who need extra help
5. What does a typical day look like?
A school day includes: Core academics in the morning (math, reading, writing, science, social studies and foreign language). The afternoon includes, entrepreneurship, art appreciation, and project based learning.
6. Do students go on field trips?
Yes! Field trips are an important part of our learning. We regularly visit local sites such as museums, nature preserves, and historical landmarks to connect classroom lessons with real-world experiences.
7. How do you handle assessments and grading?
We use a mastery-based approach rather than traditional letter grades. Progress is tracked through projects, presentations, and skill check-ins. Parents receive regular updates on their child’s growth.
8. What are the school hours?
Classes typically run 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Fridays may be used for enrichment, field trips, or independent learning.
9.How do I enroll my child?
Enrollment begins with a family tour. After that, you can complete an application form, and we’ll schedule a trial day to ensure Nest Academy is the right fit.
